Upgrade your PHP application to supported versions, with a staged plan.
We start with a fixed-scope assessment: we review your application’s versions, dependencies and risks, and give you a staged upgrade plan with estimated effort. Then, if you wish, we carry out the upgrade under a separate quote.
PHP 8.2 stops receiving security fixes on 31 December 2026.
Who it is for
Companies whose own product or core system is a custom PHP application: Symfony, Laravel, Zend Framework/Laminas, in-house frameworks or no framework.
What the assessment covers
An inventory of your PHP, framework, extension, database and Composer dependency versions, with their support dates.
Dependencies that block the upgrade, are abandoned, or need replacing.
A manual review of what tools cannot judge: your own code, customisations and integrations.
How far your tests and CI would protect you during the upgrade.
A written report, in English or Spanish, with a staged plan and an effort range per stage, presented in a findings call.
How we work
Remote, with read-only access to the code. No production access and no personal data. It does not include code changes, a security audit, or a fixed price for the upgrade.
Our co-founder
Our co-founder is a backend developer with 12+ years of PHP and Symfony experience, on current and legacy systems. He has worked on migrations from Zend Framework to Symfony and to Laminas components, and on upgrades from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.2. You work directly with him.
Tell us which PHP and framework versions you run today, and we will tell you whether the assessment fits.
The first 30-minute call is free. It is for understanding your system and checking whether the assessment fits; it does not include a code review.
